Lucy, aka "Goose"
Blaze Tweed Border Collie

Lucy came into our family at 4 months old shortly after Maggie died. She comes from a breeder in the Colorado mountains.  I started her agility training when she was about 2 years old. Her graduation from beginners to advanced agility was the fastest in program history.  ABCA and AKC registered, she was going to be our first breeder, but when we had her x-rayed for OFA certification the examine revealed a genetic hip condition, so being responsible breeders we made the difficult decision to have her spayed.  She is still active in Agility, but her competitive days are limited, but don't tell her that. She is still currently active and healthy.

Gracie aka "Red"
Fox Red Labrador

Gracie came to our home as a surprise to Christine.  After we lost Molly, Christine fell in love with the Fox Red Labrador. After significant research Gracie was found at a breeder in southern Illinois, and after a lengthy road trip Gracie met her new mom; it was love (and lots of tears) at first sight.

Gracie loves the water, and especially retreiving in the water. She is just getting into Dock Diving, but early results are very promising.

Gracie's hips and elbows are OFA certified as GOOD and NORMAL. Her eyes were examined by the UW-Madison Veterinary Hospital and are clear. She has also been tested for Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC) and cleared for that genetic marker. Gracie is CKC registered and is due to have her first litter in October, 2025.

River aka "Rio"
Black & White Border Collie

Rio is our youngest pooch. When we learned that Lucy would not be a "breeder" for us, I ran across a couple selling their 11 month old Border Collie, due to family health issues. She comes from a Minnesota Breeder where both of her parents were involved competitive agility, where, at the Minnesota State Fair Agility Competition, her mother placed runner-up, with her father placing as Champion.  Rio is both AKC and ABCA registered. She has been OFA certified with "good" hips and "normal" elbows." Her DNA tests have cleared of CEA and any other genetic health markers.

We anticipate breeding Rio early in 2026 with pups whelping in early spring.
